5 December 2019

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was inked in Tunis between the Tunisian government and the Palestinian Authority to advance partnership in social protection, official TAP news agency reported Tuesday.

The signing ceremony was attended by Tunisian Social Affairs Minister Mohamed Trabelsi and Palestinian Minister of Social Affairs Ahmed Majdalani.

The MoU also aims to exchange expertise in the fields of social protection and integration of people with disabilities.

“Establishing economic relations with Arab countries will promote a major change in the structure of the Palestinian economy as well as Palestine’s relations with the Arab world,” said Majdalani.
