Rehabilitation among children should be the key priority in all countries. In this small workshop, University of Leeds Professor Alan Roulstone looked at the challenges of the rehabilitation of disabled young people in a European context.

In addition, presenters from Rehabilitation Foundation Finland looked at the specific situations in Finland and in Estonia. Within the last few years, we have had the good fortune to develop further, in particular with the rehabilitation of learning disabilities in Finland, and we feel that we have something to offer other countries in this area.

RI Global: Founded in 1922, Rehabilitation International (RI Global) is a worldwide network promoting the rights and inclusions of persons with disabilities (PwDs) through advocacy, habilitation and rehabilitation to achieve an inclusive world in which all people can enjoy full human rights.
