RI Global’s Commission on Policy and Service identifies new policies and programs in each of the world’s geographic regions and analyzes the ways in which these developments align with the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities (CRPD).
RI Global’ s Commission on Policy and Service identifies new policies and programs in each of the world’s geographic regions and analyses the ways in which these developments align with the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities (CRPD).
The mission of the Policy and Service Commission is to identify and describe emerging development of new policies and programs in each of the world’s geographic regions, including but not limited to those that indicate best practices in the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities.
Policy and Service compares rehabilitation program development between different countries and closely follows that development at the UN level.

I’ve always wanted to work for a greater good. At my current position as the director of Supporting Foundation of children and youth with disabilities I have had the opportunity to promote equal rights, inclusion and diversity in both working life and education. My expertise lies within the fields of employment, education and rehabilitation policies and services. I’ve worked in national and international expert groups implementing projects, research and training. Currently I am the president of RI Finland and the chair of Policies and Services commission of RI Global.
I have a master’s degree in sociology, and I’ve published several articles on the employment of young people with disabilities.
