RI signed MoU with The University of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences, Qingdao, China

In October 2024, RI President, Prof. Dr. med. Christoph Gutenbrunner, FRCP, SFEBPRM signed MoU with The University of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences, Qingdao, ROC. This document was signed in Hannover, Germany.

The signed MoU agree to collaborate in research and Education in the areas of disability & Rehabilitation at an academic level. This may include:

  • the exchange of knowledge around the areas of collaboration;
  • develop relevant scientific conceptualizations and science-informed policies relevant for the areas of collaboration;
  • plan and perform joint research projects relevant for the implementation of the UN- Convention of Persons with Disabilities and the principles of rehabilitation service delivery as defined in the related resolutions of the World Health Assembly and the General Assembly of the United Nations;
  • collaborate in academic teaching including curricula development, standards and quality management;
  • organizing scientific events, like congresses, seminars, workshops and other formats.
