Rehabilitation International has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Korean Society for Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities (KSRPD) for the Global IT Challenge for Youth with Disabilities (GITC) project. This project aims to alleviate inequality for persons with disabilities, create quality jobs and eradicate poverty. GITC is to be held every December in commemoration of the 3 December ‘International Day of Persons with Disabilities’, and will be held in different parts of developing countries in rotation. This year, the event will be held in Busan, Republic of Korea as an associative event of the ASEAN-ROK Commemorative Summit.
